Who really inspires you to get fit? Michael Colgan is my all-time favorite. "Nothing tastes as good as lean and mean feels." How can you not love someone like that?
Mastersinhealthcare.com published a great article "Top 10 Fitness Icons of All Time." Really fun to read and get inspired.
Hi, Cami-- I am a LDS author and I was surfing blogger.com (snooping around at all the LDS authors pages and I noticed you said you were an exercise scientist. Since I am a Licensed Physical Therapist--I thought maybe I was out of the loop. What exactly is a exercise scientist?
ReplyDeleteAnyways, onto the topic at hand. Your post ask what is the top 10 fitness icons of all time. I went to the original article and was disgusted to see Julian Michaels listed as an icon. For your information I know the women. She had the nerve to say she was at one point in her life a Physical Therapist Assitant. Which I know for fact that is not true. The fact that you would say you are something without the credentials to back it up is lying in order to further your career.. So with that said I look at the list skeptically. But I agree with a few of them.
Hi Shannon,
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Very interesting info on Jillian. You wonder how often that happens.
An exercise scientist basically means I got a bachelor's degree in exercise science and have been involved in the fitness industry since 1996.
I wanted to on to a masters in Physical Therapy but cute boys (four of them now) made it impossible. Congrats on accomplishing that and on your books. They look amazing.
