I had to share with all of you that I am doing pretty good breaking my chocolate addiction. I posted several weeks ago that I was going to go chocoalte free on the weekdays. I've done it (three whole weeks, wow!). I've actually felt pretty good and haven't been too irritable (don't ask my boys, they might disagree). The thing that I've been really excited about is on the weekends I haven't gone nuts eating chocolate. I have definitely eaten some chocolate but it's been reasonable portion sizes and rarely more than once a day. I've really prayed hard for help to break this addiction and I know I'm not 100% cured but I feel much more in control and I like that.
How do you curb your desire for chocolate or sugar?

Keeping up with boys
My 18mo is 38 pounds and thinks the best spot on earth is in his momma's arms. Of course Momma must be standing up, none of this sitting down and enjoying holding him. I'm glad he loves me so much. I wonder how on earth I would keep up with him if I didn't exercise. But then I'll have that awful little thought that maybe if I didn't exercise so hard I'd have more energy for him and his big brothers. Quite often by bedtime I feel like I've been run over by the garbage truck.
What about you? Does exercise help you through your day or does it sometimes zap your energy?

National Oreo Day
I have been doing exceptionally well with my no chocolate during the weekday pledge. Honestly I was feeling pretty smug about it. Yesterday my husband brought home four packages of double-stuff Oreos. Four. It was National Oreo Day or some such nonsense!
I almost caved. I sniffed. I pondered how they would taste. But then I told myself that I'd promised my blogging buddies no chocolate until Friday and I grabbed one of those bags of Oreos and hid it where not even my husband will find it.
Can't wait for Friday!
