The flu and colds have gone through all four of my boys. I got overconfident and thought I was immune. Not so. Can't breathe through my nose and want to sleep all day. Any wonderful home remedies you want to share? I've been overdosing on Vitamin C and drinking my Reliv so hopefully I'll get with it soon.
Hoping you all stay healthy!

  1. Just wanted to plant the JUICEPLUS bug in your mind.
We've been taking it for 13 months...and the boys haven't had a SICK visit to the doctor since 2/10...almost a year. And they go to either the YMCA or school 5 days a week...so they are EXPOSED to everything. Lots of people around here have had the GI bug or the flu... we've ALL been HEALTHY here.
As a RD I really believe in the product... fruits and veggies...that's it...carries a FOOD label as it is NOT a vitamin, and there is PROVEN CLINICAL Peer-REVIEWED Medical research to support juice plus.
Will email you a recent article I found about the flu /

  2. Thanks, Roxy. I will definitely check that out. How wonderful that your boys haven't been sick. Do they like the Juice Plus? That's half my problem, making my kids take supplements.

  3. Yes they take the JUICEPLUS "chewables" and LOVE THEM!!! Literally they ask for them EVERYDAY and I have to keep them on top of the fridge so they don't get to them.
They each get 2 of the orchard and garden everyday.... which equals 5 servings of fruits and vegetables.
If you want to try some I could get you a sample of them. let me know if you have questions!

  4. Thanks, Roxy. I'll check them out. I'd hate to have you mail me samples, is there an easier way for you?

  5. Oh I seriously needed this today. I'm struggling. I don't want to do anything, and there's lots to be done. But I also didn't get up this morning. Instead I shut off my alarm and went back to bed. And I'm regretting it. Tomorrow, 5:30 will find me on the bike downstairs!

    Thanks for the motivation!

  6. It's so hard when you have one of those days. I hope you're doing better!
